FIELD TRIP - Saturday, March 8
A field trip hosted by the Art/Photography Club to the Hyde Museum and Lapham Gallery in Glens Falls is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2014.
The vans will leave the college at 9:00 am. All participants are advised to arrive by 8:45am. Admission will be paid by the club, participants should bring money for lunch and a coffee or snack break. The estimated time back to school is scheduled for no later than 6:00pm.
There are three special exhibits presently at the Hyde including Ansel Adams: Early Works; Photo-Secessio: Painterly Masterworks of Turn-of the- Century Photography; and Winter Light: Selections from the Collection of Thomas Clark. Clinton Community College welcomes Installation Artist Michael Corigliano
Students join Installation artist Michael Corigliano on campus as he works to focus attention on the often overlooked limited lifespan of the natural world by showcasing “its transient essence and timeless beauty” in porcelain.
